Dear Parents,
When raising children in today’s world there are few things that we can control. Outside influences often affect how situations evolve and problems resolve. Shortage of time spent at home, demands at work, family responsibilities, financial concerns put a strain on our ordinary days. The late Fred Rogers, stated in The World According to Mister Rogers, that “you rarely have time for everything you want in this life, so you need to make choices. And hopefully your choices can come from a deep sense of who you are.”
Your conscious choice to send your children to Trenton Catholic Preparatory Academy is one to be applauded. Your deep faith and strong morals have been instilled in your children from a young age. Your desire to have them continue to grow and develop in a faith-filled environment emphasizing intellectual, spiritual, moral and social values is reflected in your commitment to Catholic education.
Catholic school children grow up to be strong community leaders who play a key role in helping to ensure a brighter, stronger future for our country. High school graduation rate is 99% at TCPA with 98% going onto college. Catholic schools are where tomorrow’s minds are shaped today.
When it comes to defining what’s great about Catholic schools, it helps to go directly to the experts: the students themselves. Isabelle loves coming to TCPA because “this school is like a family”. Elle feels that no matter how difficult the work may be his teachers and students are always here to help him. Ayden is thankful not only for a good education but also the many learning experiences we offer. Mrs. Apgar, our second grade believes that “Trenton Catholic Preparatory Academy is a place to learn, play and pray. It’s more than an education; it’s a way of life!”
Don’t miss out on registering for next school year. Now is the time to get all paperwork completed to insure your child’s spot for the 23-24 school year. All current students must re-register each year.
Catholic Schools Week will be celebrated the week of January 29. The theme this year is “Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service.” I wish to extend my appreciation to you for making our school so special and for investing in your child’s future.
Strength for the Journey,
Mrs. Anne Reap
