Amanda Nisula, LAT, ATC aka "Ms. N." to her student-athletes, is a Certified Athletic Trainer. An athletic trainer is a certified and licensed (in the state of New Jersey) health care professional who practices in the field of sports medicine.
Ms. N. started her Athletic Training career way back in high school, where she worked for three years as an Athletic Training Student Aide at Rancocas Valley Regional High School.
After high school, Ms. N. attended Rowan University, where she received her B.A. in Heath and Exercise Science, with a specialization in Athletic Training in the spring of 2005.
Ms. N. has applied her Athletic Training skills and they have afforded her many opportunities in her professional career. She started off her career at Immaculata University in the fall of 2005. While working at Immaculata, Ms. N. traveled with their Women's Basketball team to St. Thomas for a tournament, and most notably, worked on the Mighty Macs movie set! She also represented the Mighty Macs Athletics Department, as an advisor on the AlcoholEDU committee.
From Immaculata, Ms. N. moved on to the Secondary School setting in 2007, where she found her niche and hasn't looked back! She began at Bordentown Regional High School, where she worked for ten years. During her tenure at BRHS, she received a nomination for Educational Services Professional of the Year.
Other high school positions include Camden County Technical Schools (Pennsauken Campus), and Holy Cross Preparatory Academy.
Most recently, Ms. N. worked for Trinity Health of New England, stationed out of Saint Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT. She worked as an outreach Athletic Trainer for Sacred Heart High School and in their physical therapy clinic, also located in Waterbury, CT.
Ms. N. comes to Trenton Catholic Preparatory Academy, Inc. after taking a work hiatus to have her twin babies, Amelia and Joseph last October. She's currently in her hardest position yet...working twin mama!!
